How Duct Cleaning Dublin Was Born in Dublin
We started Duct Cleaning Dublin in 2017 after watching a neighbor on Grafton Street get taken for a ride. She’d hired a company to clean her ducts, and they’d quoted her one price over the phone, then doubled it once the technician was standing in her living room. What bothered us more than the money was the condition of her system afterward. We went over to look, and the return side hadn’t been touched. The registers still had dust caked around the edges. She’d paid for work that mostly didn’t happen.
That afternoon stuck with us. We realized the air duct cleaning trade in Dublin had a reputation problem, and honestly, it had earned it. Too many companies treated every job like a one-time transaction instead of a homeowner’s health and comfort. We made a promise that day: show up on time, do the work we quoted, and prove it with before-and-after photos of the customer’s own ducts. Not stock photos. Not a vague invoice line item. Their actual system, in their actual home, in Dublin.
Nine years later, that’s still the backbone of how we operate.
Our Founder’s Personal Connection to the Air Duct Cleaning Trade
Our founder didn’t grow up in the duct cleaning business. Like a lot of people, he didn’t think much about what was moving through the vents in his own home until his family started waking up stuffy and congested for no obvious reason. A doctor’s visit turned up nothing conclusive. But when he pulled the vent cover off the wall behind the couch and saw what had accumulated in there, the problem became impossible to ignore.
That moment, holding a grille caked with gray fuzz and years of accumulated dust, felt less like a maintenance issue and more like a wake-up call. He started researching how air ducts actually work, how air moves through a house, and how quickly a system can get dirty in a place like Dublin, where the hills trap warm air in the summer and homes run their HVAC systems for months at a stretch. The more he learned, the more he realized most homeowners have no way to know whether their ducts were ever cleaned properly, because the work happens out of sight.
So he sought out training from experienced tradespeople who’d been running commercial-grade equipment for years. He spent hours in crawl spaces and attics, learning how a Rotobrush system behaves differently than a Nikro vacuum setup, and how air whip tools work inside a trunk line. The first time he switched on a negative-pressure rig and watched the extraction hose pull a cloud of dust out of a return line, the memory stayed with him. It smelled like old drywall and lint. It looked like smoke moving in reverse. And when it was done, the airflow at the registers felt noticeably different.
That’s what keeps him motivated, all these years later. Not the equipment or the technique, though he genuinely enjoys both. It’s the moment a homeowner leans down near a vent after the job and says they can feel the difference. Or the follow-up call from someone whose allergies finally settled down after years of assuming their house was just dusty. He’d rather be under a house in Dublin showing a homeowner the inside of their own ductwork than doing just about anything else.
Meet Our Team – The Person Behind Every Job
Our founder is the Owner and lead technician at Duct Cleaning Dublin. He trained hands-on with experienced duct cleaning professionals before starting the company in 2017, learning residential system design, negative-air extraction methods, and source-removal techniques. He’s the same person who walks the job, runs the equipment, and reviews the before-and-after photos with you before leaving. There’s no layer of management between the person quoting the work and the person doing it.
He’s a believer in doing things properly the first time, which shows up in small ways: he won’t rush a job to get to the next one, and he treats every Dublin home like it belongs to his own family. Off the clock, he’s an avid hiker who spends weekends on the trails around Mount Diablo and in the ridgelands above Dublin, which is fitting, because he’s never been afraid of getting his hands dirty.
Every job gets his full attention. That’s not a slogan. That’s how he’s run this company since the day it started.
Our Promise to Dublin Homeowners
We’ve built this company around three commitments that came directly out of that first experience on Grafton Street in 2017.
One flat price per system. You get a written quote before any work begins, and that’s the price. No per-vent upcharges, no surprise fees for extra registers, no bait-and-switch once the equipment is in your home. The number we agree on is the number on your invoice.
Proof of the work. After every job, we show you before-and-after photos of your actual ducts. Not a sample photo from another house. Not a vague description of what was done. Your system, documented.
Genuine care for the result. If something isn’t right, we’ll make it right. We’d rather spend an extra half hour on a job than leave a Dublin homeowner wondering whether they got what they paid for. That’s the whole reason we started this company in the first place.
Our Credentials
- State-licensed – every technician working under our name is required to hold the license their state requires for residential HVAC and duct work.
- Insured & bonded – we carry the coverage needed to protect your home and your property while we’re working in it.
- Nearly a decade of local experience – we’ve been cleaning ducts in Dublin and the surrounding Tri-Valley since 2017.
- Strong local reputation – our business has grown the way good local businesses should: homeowners who saw the results telling their neighbors.
Why does this matter to you? Because hiring someone to work in your home means trusting them with your air, your family’s comfort, and your property. A license means they’ve met the baseline requirements to do the work legally. Insurance means you’re protected if something goes wrong. And local experience means they know how Dublin homes are built, how our climate affects duct systems, and what to look for in the attics and crawl spaces around here. Ask any contractor to show you proof. We’ll gladly show ours.
Rooted in Dublin
We’ve called Dublin home since before we started this business, and we know this city’s neighborhoods the way only someone who lives here can. From the newer developments off Fallon Road to the established streets near Dublin High School, we know how different home ages and builder styles affect ductwork. We run into the same issues in West Dublin split-levels that we see in ranch homes over by Kolb Park. That local knowledge means we show up knowing what to look for, not figuring it out on your dime.
If your ducts haven’t been cleaned in years, or you’ve never looked inside your registers, give us a call at (855) 356-4417. We’ll give you an honest assessment and a written quote. No pressure, no games.
